Antenatal Care
Antenatal care is a visit between pregnant women and their doctor throughout pregnancy. The GPs supported by Queen Street Medical Centre are up to date with current antenatal guidelines. If you work in the city, you can have your regular antenatal checkups at our well-equipped clinic. The clinic has a Doppler to monitor foetal heart activity. The GPs can provide shared antenatal care with the Mater Hospital and local public hospitals. Our practice nurses can administer the recommended government funded vaccines including pertussis (whooping cough) from 20 weeks gestation and influenza at any stage of pregnancy.
